About

Why JGL

Junior Golf League (JGL) is dedicated to creating a youth development platform that integrates competition, golf education, and international higher education advancement, especially NCAA college pathways. Our mission is to provide young golfers in Taiwan with greater opportunities to achieve excellence in both academics and golf expertise.

  • Enhancing the Balance Between Sports and Academics

By adopting a weekend tournament model, we minimize conflicts between academics and athletics, increasing participation among young players and their families.

  • Establishing an International Competitive Development System

We are refining the DI/DII league structure to align with the USA Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking system, ensuring that our players possess international competitiveness and the global presence of our junior golfers.

  • Creating a Dual Pathway for Academic and Athletic Advancement

Through U.S. college seminars, training camps, a player database, and NCAA application guidance, we provide a clear pathway for student-athletes to pursue both academic and athletic success, helping them gain admission to top international universities.

  • Strengthening International Integration and Competitive Exchange

By hosting international tournaments and offering overseas competition opportunities, we enhance the participation of our junior golfer in World Amateur Golf Rankings, expanding their international development prospects and reinforcing the global competitiveness of Taiwan’s junior golf scene.
